PERSONAL APPEARENCES / CONVENTIONS

Those of you who actually have an interest in meeting me and discussing my career finally had the chance to do so in August 2001 when I appeared alongside the cast members from THE BROTHERHOOD, FINAL STAB, THE FRIGHTENING and THE BROTHERHOOD II: YOUNG WARLOCKS at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in Pasadena, CA. Though I was incredibly nervous at first, once I got on stage and helped the audience with a Q&A amongst the cast members and gave fans the run-down on director David DeCoteau's career and then-new company Rapid Heart Pictures, I realized I was a big boy and could handle speaking in front of crowds just fine. August 2002 found me hosting (!) Chicago's 1st Annual Flashback Weekend Horror Convention. Then representing Femme Fatales 10th Anniversary and newly minted Editor of Cinefantastique, I was asked to introduce the events biggest names and movies, including the ladies of THE EVIL DEAD, Felissa Rose and director Robert Hiltzik of SLEEPAWAY CAMP fame, among others, plus present B-movie discussion pannels, special events and more! The weekend was a blast and, like the Fangoria Convention, I was even asked to sign a few autographs! Funky, heh?

Looks like the convention circuit will be taking over several more of my weekends in the upcoming year as I've been asked to return to Chicago's Flashback Weekend Horror Convention in July 2007 for the sixth year, plus appear at several other cons and events. Keep checking below to see where I'll be and when. Like I said in my intro, I always love to meet and hear from other horror fans! JAVA VINO indie film series showing SOMETHING TO SCREAM ABOUT

Director Jason Paul Collum will appear to present his documentary SOMETHING TO SCREAM ABOUT (65 min) which follows 9 actresses who make their living in the horror film industry. 

ADMISSION is FREE!!!
